The clean lines and offbeat proportions of Sophie Hughes’ namesake jewelry line inspired SHAG colorist/stylist Patty Martin to create this elegant, feature-defining hairstyle. Paired with a simple, black gown, this allowed both the jewelry and the model’s natural beauty to take center stage.

Crazy colors, shaved sides and wild cuts have been de rigeur for some time now. We still (and always will) love them, as our staff’s multicolored manes prove, but this fall runway trends are beginning to slide to the other side of the scale: natural, understated hair looks with rich color and expertly subtle cuts and styles.
For our first fall-inspired shoot, colorist Patty Martin gave our model Meaghan G. of Maggie, Inc. this chocolate brown hue to compliment her perfect skin and make her eyes pop. For style, Liz Grace created this symmetrical masterpiece using products from the Oribe Hair Care line, including Gel Serum, Rock Hard Gel and Soft Lacquer Hairspray.

For our latest shoot, SHAG colorist and stylist Patty Martin decided to channel the ethereal vibes of summer into this spritely, super-soft style, using Davines products as well as a special color application technique. The glittering, graduated color is courtesy of Davines’ own “flamboyage” technique, which scatters the color throughout hair strands to create a multi-dimensional look.

Along with gorgeous blooms courtesy of Stems Floral Design, Patty used the following Davines products, all available at SHAG, to perfect her updo: OI Absolute Beautifying Potion with Roucou Oil, No.14 Sea Salt Primer, and Defining Glam Power Spray.
